LDL Achieves Investor in Excellence

Liverpool Direct Limited has been awarded the Investors in Excellence Standard for a further 2 years.
The national standard recognises organisations which have excelled when measured against the business excellence model. Showing the highest level of commitment to improving their performance, increasing their competitiveness, and successfully implementing self-assessment and adopting best practice, LDL have been awarded the excellence standard for a further two years.
The assessor from North of England Excellence used LDL’s recent entry to the 2009 UK Business Excellence Award submission as the basis for their assessment (of which LDL was shortlisted as a finalist) before awarding the standard.
David McElhinney, Liverpool Direct Limited Chief Executive Officer commented: “This achievement is testament to the hard work and commitment of the staff at LDL in ensuring we continually deliver excellence across the whole company. This is another level of achievement that adds to an already successful award portfolio over the last year.”
