The celebrations continue as LDL is reaccredited with two renowned international quality standards

The staff at Liverpool Direct Limited have two more reasons to celebrate this week after being recertified for the internationally recognised Quality Management Standard ISO 9001 Certification and the Environmental Standard ISO 14001.
Part of the assessment process for both Standards involved a challenging five day rigorous inspection. The Assessors examined internal processes and every aspect of each service area’s operations. To be accredited with both Standards gives clear demonstration of Liverpool Direct Limited’s commitment to quality.
Commenting on Liverpool Direct Limited, the assessors were extremely impressed with the enthusiasm and attitude of all staff.
Cllr Warren Bradley, Leader of Liverpool City Council and a Board Director of Liverpool Direct Limited said: “To be reaccredited with both the 14001 and 9001 standard is a huge boost to our credentials. It is also an outstanding achievement for all involved and demonstrates the commitment and determination of our staff and that we continue to deliver an excellent standard of service and fulfill the environment standards in all aspects right across the business. The environment is important to us all. It is about thinking globally and acting locally. Achieving this standard demonstrates we are playing a full part and acting on our responsibilities.”
This latest good news arrives on the back of LDL scooping not only the 'Award for Excellence' for a private company with over 250 employees but was also crowned 'Best Company in the North of England' as defined by the Business Excellence Model at the North of England Excellence Awards.
