LDL to fly the flag at the CCA Awards

Liverpool Direct Limited is delighted to announce that its 24 x 7 x 365 has been shortlisted for not one but two Awards at the prestigious 2010 Customer Contact Association (CCA) Awards.
Liverpool Direct Limited has been recognised in the categories of; Innovation in Customer-Led Efficiencies and for the highly prized Contact Centres: Great Places to Work.
Cllr Joe Anderson, Leader of Liverpool City Council and a Board Director of Liverpool Direct Limited said: “This is an outstanding achievement for the whole of Liverpool Direct Limited its hard work and real evidence of how our staff put the customer at the heart of the organisation. To be short listed for not just one but two awards demonstrates the quality of service and working environment that Liverpool Direct Limited provides. Congratulations to all involved. I am looking forward to seeing if we bring home both awards in November.”
The focus of the Innovation in Customer-Led Efficiencies submission highlighted Liverpool Direct Limited’s priority of placing the customer at the forefront of plans to drive business efficiency, service excellence and continuous improvement. It highlighted Liverpool Direct Limited’s priorities such as; delivering world class results; building, enhancing and maintaining partnerships and how it plans to broaden its customer base by capitalising on new business opportunities, to name but a few.
Commenting on Liverpool Direct Limited’s entry, the judges were impressed on how the customer is clearly placed at the forefront of all its plans to performance and quality. Liverpool Direct Limited has demonstrated innovative approaches in the use of multi-media in delivering a choice of service entry points and tools for the benefit of customers, staff and resulting in the commercial success of its business and staff.
The Contact Centre: Great Places to Work submission focused on the Company’s scheme ‘LDL is A Great Place to Work’ (GPTW) as a tool which demonstrates its commitment to engaging and motivating the workforce. The GPTW initiative was recognised by the judges as an excellent idea and one which was well implemented across the Liverpool Direct Contact Centre.
The CCA Excellence Award is the most respected and impressive awards event in the Contact Centre industry events calendar. It represents around 900 organisations and nearly 50% of all UK Contact Centres. The CCA Gala Dinner & Excellence Awards Ceremony is taking place in November at Hilton Hotel, Glasgow.
