Success for payroll team

Liverpool Direct Limited's human resource and payroll service celebrated a night of success at the Pay Magazine Awards 2008, held in London on 11 November.
The payroll team was named ‘Payroll Team of the Year’, and Annette Cook, payroll team leader, was named "Payroll Employee of the Year".
The judges commented, "The team at Liverpool Direct Limited does not rest on its laurels and has constantly improved processes across the board and not just small changes. All the innovations have been aimed at improving the service to its payroll customers, and they have succeeded."
Annette won Payroll Employee of the Year because she has been involved in and was integral to the successful delivery of all the improvement projects her team has implemented.
The judges were particularly impressed that Annette demonstrated that she can take the initiative and innovate while still building good relationships with customers and her team.
This has been a particularly successful year for Annette, who was also named Best Fastrack Student for 2008 by the Institute of Payroll Professionals.
